Blazer Jobs is hiring an experienced and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, school-based position in Fayetteville, North Carolina, for the 20252026 school year. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students gain independence and confidence through meaningful, evidence-based interventions.
As part of a supportive school therapy team, the COTA will work directly with students across grade levels to improve functional skills, fine motor coordination, and participation in daily academic and social activities. What Youll Do

Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT.

Deliver direct and consultative therapy to address students sensory, motor, and adaptive needs.

Support IEP goal implementation through individualized and group sessions.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with North Carolina state standards.

Qualifications

Active North Carolina COTA license (or eligibility to obtain before start date).

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

NBCOT certification preferred.

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
